Hey, I’m Lisa — Welcome to My Little Corner of the Internet
I’m a girl in my 20s who loves all things beauty, from skincare and hair care to makeup, self-care, and soft feminine style. I created Hersoftera as a space to share beauty inspiration, simple tips, product ideas, and helpful content for girls and women who want to feel more confident and put together in everyday life.
I’m so glad you found your way here. Whether you stumbled across this site searching for a workout you can actually stick to, trying to figure out where your paycheck goes every month, dealing with mom guilt at 2am, or just needing someone to tell you that you’re not alone — this is the place for you.
My name is Lisa, and I created Hersoftera because I kept looking for a blog that felt like it was written for real women living real lives — and I couldn’t find it. So I built it myself.
Hersoftera is my space to share everything I’ve learned, tested, tried, failed at, and eventually figured out — across four areas that matter most to women like us.
What Hersoftera Is All About
This site covers four areas of life that I care deeply about and write about every week:
Fitness & Weight Loss
I am not a personal trainer. What I am is a woman who has tried every workout trend, fallen off the wagon more times than I can count, and finally found what actually works for a busy, real-life schedule. I write about home workouts with no equipment, walking challenges, weight loss tips for women, and how to build habits that last without burning yourself out.
Women & Personal Finance
Nobody taught me about money growing up. I had to learn the hard way — through debt, bad decisions, and a lot of late-night stress. Now I write about budgeting, saving, investing for beginners, building credit, and creating income as a woman. No complicated jargon. No judgment. Just practical steps I wish someone had given me sooner.
Mental Health & Self-Development
Setting boundaries, recovering from burnout, building self-confidence, managing anxiety, and learning to stop putting yourself last — these are things I write about from lived experience, not a textbook. I am not a therapist, but I am a woman who has done a lot of inner work and wants to share what helped.
Mom Life & Parenting
Motherhood is the most beautiful, exhausting, overwhelming, rewarding thing. I write about it honestly — the routines that work, the products worth buying, dealing with mom guilt, raising confident kids, and finding pockets of yourself in between all the giving.
This Site Is for You If…
- You want to get fit but you have no gym, no time, and no energy left after your day
- You are tired of being stressed about money but have no idea where to start
- You give everything to everyone else and have nothing left for yourself
- You are in the middle of motherhood and just need someone to get it
- You want to feel better, do better, and live better — without the pressure of being perfect
- You are looking for a blog that actually talks to you like a friend, not a brand
A Little More About Me
I created Hersoftera from scratch — built the site, wrote every post, figured out SEO on the fly, and learned as I went. It started as a small idea and grew into something I am genuinely proud of.
I am not a doctor, a certified financial planner, or a licensed therapist. I am a woman with real experiences, a love for research, and a strong desire to create content that actually helps. Everything I write is based on personal experience, thorough research, and a commitment to being honest with you even when the honest answer is “I don’t know, but here’s what I found.”
I believe that women are stronger when they have good information, a supportive community, and someone in their corner telling them they can do it.
That’s what I want Hersoftera to be for you.
What I Promise You
- Honesty always: I will never recommend something I do not believe in. If I have not tried it or researched it thoroughly, I will tell you that.
- No fake perfection: You will not find a highlight reel here. I write about what actually works, including the messy parts.
- Practical over pretty: Every post is meant to give you something you can use today, not just inspiration that fades by tomorrow.
- Respect for your time: I get to the point. You are busy. I know that.
- A judgment-free space: Whatever you are going through, whatever stage you are at — you are welcome here exactly as you are.
Not sure where to start? I’ve got you.
